Create-a-Greeting Card Scholarship

Deadline: 2/26/16

Available to: High School Freshman through Graduate Students, Year 5

Award Amount: $10,000

The Create-A-Greeting Card Scholarship Contest is open to currently enrolled high school and college students in the United States.

To enter, you must design a holiday, get well, or birthday greeting card and submit your work to be judged.

Your photo, art, or graphics submitted must be your own original work and you must be at least 14 years of age to be eligible for this award.

$5,000 Teens for Jeans Scholarship

Deadline: 2/29/16

Available to: Maximum Age 25 Years

Award Amount: $5,000

Every year, over a million young people in the US experience homelessness. One item they request often? A pair of jeans.

DoSomething.org is launching the 9th annual Teens for Jeans campaign where participants help collect gently-used blue jeans in their schools and communities to be distributed to shelters throughout the country.

In addition to providing an important clothing item to others in need, participants also have the chance to win a $5,000 scholarship! Every two pairs of jeans count an entry. The more pairs you collect, the more chances you have at winning.

No essay or minimum GPA required.

Lexington Law Scholarship

Available to: College Freshman through Graduate Students, Year 5

Award Amount: 2 Awards of $10,000

The Lexington Law Scholarship Award is available to currently enrolled students. You must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to be eligible for this award.

To be considered, you must submit a minimum 800-word essay about how you repaired or established your good credit.

"Frame My Future" Scholarship Contest

Available to: College Freshman through Graduate Students, Year 5

Award Amount: 5 Awards of $1,000

The "Frame My Future" Scholarship Contest is open to full - time undergraduate and graduate students attending a U.S. college or university.

To enter, you must submit an original creative image that expresses what you hope to achieve in your personal and professional life after college.

Some example entry piece ideas are: photograph, short typed explanation, collage, drawing, graphic design piece, painting, or anything you can create within one image. Your entry must be your own work and must relate to the theme: "This is how I Frame My Future."

Paradigm Challenge

Available to: Maximum Age 18 Years

Award Amount: $100,000

Sponsored by Project Paradigm, the Paradigm Challenge is available to students up to the age of 18.

You may work in a team or alone in creating an original and creative way to generate new ideas in preventing injuries and fatalities from home fires—America’s #1 disaster threat.

Entries may come in the form of posters, videos, inventions, messages, community events, websites, mobile apps, or anything else that will help save lives.

Additionally, you must submit a brief statement of your idea (140 characters or less) in order to qualify for this award.

Available to: All Fastweb Members

Award Amount: $500

The Fastweb Invite a Friend Sweepstakes is open to registered Fastweb members who are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, and who are at least thirteen (13) years of age.

You must log into your Fastweb account to obtain your personal referral link.

American Legion National High School Oratorical Contest

Deadline: Varies

Available to: High School Freshman through High School Senior

Award Amount : $18,000

Provided by The American Legion, the National High School Oratorical Contest is open to junior high and high school students who are under the age of 20 and citizens or lawful permanent residents of the United States.

You must prepare an oration on some aspect of the U.S. Constitution, with some emphasis on the duties and obligations of citizens to our government.

Each individual state winner certified into and participating in the first round of the national contest receives an additional $1,500 scholarship.

Ventures Scholars Program

Deadline: Varies

Available to: High School Freshman through College Freshman

Award Amount: $10,000

The Ventures Scholars Program is open to underrepresented and first-generation college-bound students. You must be pursuing a math- or science-based career to be considered for this award.

CKSF Scholarship Competition

Deadline: Varies

Available to: High School Freshman through Graduate Student, Year 5

Award Amount: $2,500

The CKSF Scholarships are available to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students in the U.S.

You must register to participate in scholarship quizzes that test your knowledge of topics ranging from general "common knowledge" to specific academic subjects, books, websites, and even movies.

You will be scored based on a combination of time and accuracy.

Students with the highest scores at the end of each competition win.
