The Charles LeGeyt Fortescue Graduate Scholarship is available to full-time, first-year graduate students pursuing work in electrical engineering.

SMART Scholarship

Available to: College Freshman through Graduate Students, Year 5

Award Amount: $38,000

Provided by the American Society for Engineering Education, the SMART Scholarship is available to undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.

You must be a U.S. citizen, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for this award.

This program provides students with full-tuition and fees, a $25,000-$38,000 per year cash award, health insurance reimbursement, and a $1,000 book allowance.

Summer internships and post-graduation career opportunities with the Department of Defense are also available.

International Fellowship – American Association of University Women

Available to: Graduate Students, Year 1 through Year 5

Award Amount: $30,000

The International Fellowship is available to female international students pursuing graduate or postgraduate study.
You must have already applied to your proposed graduate institution by the deadline date.

Your selection for this award will be based on academic record, professional potential and the potential to improve the lives of women and girls in your home country.

Preference will be given to women residing in their home countries at the time of application.

The Swann Foundation Fellowship is available to graduate students who are conducting scholarly research and writing projects in the field of caricature and cartoon.

To be eligible, you must be a candidate for an M.A. or Ph.D. degree in a university in the United States, Canada, or Mexico and be working toward the completion of a dissertation or thesis for that degree, or be engaged in postgraduate research within three years of receiving an M.A. or Ph.D.

The Chicagoland Regional College Program is open to students who are at least 17 years of age and attending, or planning to attend: Chicago State University, Governors State University, Moraine Valley Community College, Morton College, Olive Harvey College, Prairie State College, or Richard J. Daley College.

To be considered, you must be willing to work part - time as a package handler at the UPS Hodgkins, IL. facility.

The hours are Monday through Friday from 4:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. or 10:00 P.M. to 3:00 A.M.

In addition to a $6200 annual UPS salary, program participants will also receive a $2000 allowance for school fees, $300 for books, and $100 per month for transportation.

Veterans will also receive a $300 - $500 monthly bonus.
