220 Colleges Still Accepting Fall Applications

National Decision Day, which took place on May 1, has passed us by. It’s a significant date in terms of college admissions because it’s the date students are expected to submit their final college choices.

Were you unable to make a final decision? Perhaps, you made a decision and have changed your mind since? Or, maybe the colleges you applied to didn’t give you an admissions offer.

Regardless of the scenario you find yourself in, there’s no need to panic.

According to the National Association for College Admission Counseling, or NACAC, there are 220 private and public colleges still accepting applications for admission this coming 2015 fall semester.

Applications are being accepted for both 2015 freshman and/or transfer admission, depending on the particular school.
Check details of specific school listings and their admissions availability.

These schools cover a range of states as well as some international schools. Similar to the range of location, the availability of the schools ranges in the amount of applications they can accept, too.

Some schools can only take a maximum of 1-1,000 applications, such as Iowa Wesleyan College or Union College (KY), while others can take on 20,000+ applications, like Georgia State University or Illinois State University.

Many of these schools still have financial aid and housing availability as well, but availability won’t last long. Submit your application as soon as possible to qualify.

The NACAC website provides an easy way to get in touch with each school individually.

The listings will remain on the NACAC website through June 30, and colleges have been asked to update their listings as availability changes.

To apply for admission at one or more of the 220 colleges, it’s best to contact the admissions office for the schools directly.
It’s important to take action now if you’re still in need of a college to attend in the fall.

Go to the NACAC website.
