The DECA/ Walgreens Scholarship is open to currently active DECA members.
You must demonstrate participation in community service activities, leadership, and DECA activities to be eligible for this award.

Love Your Body Poster Contest

Available to: High School Freshman through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: 4 Awards of $250
The Love Your Body Poster Contest is open to female students.
To enter, you must create a poster that may be used as part of a national campaign to counteract the media's use of narrow, unrealistic, negative images of women; and / or challenge advertisers that profit from women's dissatisfaction with their bodies.
Posters should be graphically attractive and use a dynamic message. Images that demonstrate that beauty is not limited by body size, body type, ethnicity, age or physical appearance are preferred. Winning posters will be displayed in schools and other public settings.

$10,000 Show Your Grandparents How to Use Emojis Scholarship

Available to: Maximum Age 25 Years

Award Amount: $1,500
The Respshop.com Scholarship is available to undergraduates, graduate students, and high school students who plan to attend college within the following seven months.
You must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and submit a 500-700 word essay about snoring, sleep apnea, sleep disorders, or CPAP therapy.
You may steer your essay in any direction you like, but you should relate sleep disorders or CPAP therapy to your personal life or to your community.

Toshiba/NSTA ExploraVision Science Competition

Available to: Ages 14-21
Award Amount: 8 Awards between $5,000-$10,000
Sponsored by Toshiba/NSTA, the ExploraVision Science Competition is available to students in grades K-12.
You must work in a group of two, three or four students.
Each team will select a technology that is present in the home, school and/or community and explore what the technology does, how it works and how or why it was invented.
All applicants must be citizens of the United States or Canada to be eligible.

Swann Foundation Fellowship
Deadline: 2/15/16
Available to: Graduate Students, Year 1 through Year 5
Award Amount: $15,000
The Swann Foundation Fellowship is available to graduate students who are conducting scholarly research and writing projects in the field of caricature and cartoon.
To be eligible, you must be a candidate for an M.A. or Ph.D. degree in a university in the United States, Canada, or Mexico and be working toward the completion of a dissertation or thesis for that degree, or be engaged in postgraduate research within three years of receiving an M.A. or Ph.D.

Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarship

Available to: High School Senior through College Freshman

The Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors.
You must have been active in promoting vegetarianism in your school and / or community; and have demonstrated compassion, courage, and a strong commitment to promoting a peaceful world through a vegetarian diet/lifestyle to be considered for this award.

Create-a-Greeting Card Scholarship

Available to: High School Freshman through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $10,000
The Create-A-Greeting Card Scholarship Contest is open to currently enrolled high school and college students in the United States.
To enter, you must design a holiday, get well, or birthday greeting card and submit your work to be judged.
Your photo, art, or graphics submitted must be your own original work and you must be at least 14 years of age to be eligible for this award.

Anthem Essay Contest
Deadline: 3/25/16
Available to: Maximum Age 16 Years
Award Amount: $2,000
The Anthem Essay Contest is open to students in 8th, 9th and 10th grade.
You must submit an essay of between 600 and 1,200 words based on Ayn Rand's "Anthem."
You must choose on one of the three topics provided on the sponsor's website.
Essays will be judged on style and content.

Rubber Division Scholarship
Deadline: 3/25/16
Available to: College Juniors through College Seniors
Award Amount: $5,000
Provided by the Rubber Division of the American Chemical Society, the Rubber Division Scholarship is available to junior and senior students who are majoring in chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, polymer science or a rubber industry-related field.
You must demonstrate serious interest in full-time professional and promise of a productive future as a technically trained professional employment in the rubber industry and have completed at least three semesters or six terms with a minimum 'B' average to be eligible for this award.
