Available to: High School Seniors through Graduate Students, Year 5

Award Amount: $2,000

The Bachus & Schanker, LLC Scholarship is available to high school seniors accepted to a college or university and students enrolled at an accredited college or university.

You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and submit a minimum 800 word essay on the following topic: Give your opinion on the importance and efficacy of the 7th Amendment and how it affects your life.

”From Failure to Promise” Essay Contest

Deadline: 7/31/15

Available to: High School Senior through Graduate Students, Year 5

Award Amount: $10,000

The "From Failure to Promise" Essay Contest is open to high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students who hold at least a 2.5 GPA.

To be considered, you must submit an essay of at least 1500 words that addresses the following three topics: Which tracks of the book "From Failure to Promise - 360 degrees" presented or reiterated the most important life lessons for you and why, which factor was the most vital to the author's evolution in going from "flunk-out" to "professor and how does the "Seven Spheres of Influence and Integration Model" affect your worldview as related to civic responsibility.

Imagine Cup Games Competition

Deadline: 7/31/15

Available to: College Freshman through Graduate Students, Year 5

Award Amount: $50,000

The Imagine Cup Games Competition is available to students with an interest in video game design.

To enter the contest you, or your team, must submit a desktop or tablet game using Windows, or a mobile game using Windows Phone, or a browser game using Windows Azure.

Games can support multiple languages as long as English is represented and be no bigger than 500MB to be eligible entries.

Everything is Awesome Scholarship

Deadline: 8/07/15

Available to: Ages 13-25

Award Amount: $1,000

Sometimes when all the bad stuff gets in the way it can be hard to remember the good things-- like the fact that (mostly) everything is awesome.

No, seriously. You're awesome. The pen that allows you to write is awesome. The fact that we get to exchange ideas with people all over the world is awesome.

Things may happen to bring us down but there is a positive side to every situation and poets are especially great at finding that silver lining.

What is it about yourself, a friend, or life in general that you find awesome? Share your thoughts with us in a poem and bring some positivity into someone's life (and also be entered to win $1,000 for your college education).

CollegeSTEPS Sweepstakes

Deadline: 8/13/15

Available to: High School Freshman through Graduate Students, Year 5

Award Amount: $1,000

The CollegeSTEPS Sweepstakes is open to high school and college students.

To enter, you must enroll in the Wells Fargo CollegeSTEPS educational resource program.

Tutor the People Essay Scholarship

Deadline: 8/15/15

Available to: High School Juniors through College Seniors

Award Amount: $1,000

The Tutor the People Essay Scholarship is open to current high school seniors and undergraduate students attending an institution in the United States.

You must be at least 16 years of age, be in good academic standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and submit a 500 to 1,000 word personal response to the prompt on the sponsor's website in order to qualify for this award.

Available to: College Freshman through Graduate Students, Year 5

Award Amount: $1,000

The Checks SuperStore Scholarship is available to students enrolled at an accredited college or university.

Available to: College Freshman through College Seniors

Award Amount: $1,000

The JW Surety Bonds Scholarship is open to current college students.

You must submit an informational article of between 500 and 1,000 words on one of the sponsor approved topics in order to qualify for this award.

Videos of between one and five minutes and slideshows of between 10 and 30 slides are also acceptable.

Look Twice, Save A Life Scholarship

Deadline: 12/01/15

Available to: High School Seniors through Graduate Students, Year 5

Award Amount: $1,000

The Look Twice, Save A Life Scholarship is available to students currently attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university.

You must create a form of social awareness that inspires other students to focus on Looking Twice for Motorcycle Safety to qualify for this award.

This can be a video, artwork, essay or anything that would engage other students to focus on safe driving.

Student must have a valid driver’s license.

Custom Jewelry Scholarship

Deadline: 12/15/15

Available to: College Freshman through Graduate Students, Year 5

Award Amount: $1,000

The Custom Jewelry Scholarship is available to students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at any accredited college, university or trade school.

You must submit a minimum 1,000-word essay on the following topic: "Why buy custom jewelry?"
