Below, find ten amazing scholarships, for all types of students, which also span age range qualifications from high school freshmen all the way through each year of graduate school.
This is scholarships at their simplest, which we also happen to think is at their finest. Because when scholarships are simplified, it makes everything a whole lot easier, don’t you agree?

1. $1,000 Do Something Nice for Your Friend Grant

Available to: Ages 13-25 Years
Award Amount: $1,000
Do something nice for your friend by handing them an IOU book! What’s that? IOU stands for “I Owe You” and it is a book filled with fun activities you can both enjoy. Everyone is doing it, even Nickelodeon’s HALO Effect honoree, Jaylen Arnold.

No minimum GPA or essays required. Must be 13 to 25 years old to apply. This scholarship is only open to those residing in the U.S. and Canada or those who hold citizenship in the U.S. or Canada.

2. All I Need Scholarship Slam
Deadline: 4/15/16
Available to: Ages 13-25 Years
Award Amount: $1,000
We all know this familiar question: If you were stranded on a deserted island, what's the one thing you would take with you? You might be quick to answer with your favorite book or an empty journal to fill with all the new existential thoughts you'd have while on an island by yourself.
Well, we want to take this challenge a step further. What is the one thing you can't live without? Is it a person, an object, or even an idea that you hold close to your heart?
Tell us in a poem about the importance of the one thing you feel you absolutely need and why, for your chance to win $1,000 for college.

3. E-waste Scholarship

Available to: High School Freshmen through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $1,000
The E-waste Scholarship is available to high school, undergraduate or graduate students.
You must be U.S. citizen or legal resident to qualify for this award.

4. National Hazing Prevention Week Poster Design Contest
Deadline: 4/30/16
Available to: College Freshmen through College Seniors
Award Amount: Varies
Sponsored by HazingPrevention.org, the National Hazing Prevention Week Poster Design Contest is available to students who are interested in preventing hazing.
Students must submit a poster on the theme "Be Someone’s Hero – Stand Up to Hazing".

5. CARiD Scholarship
Deadline: 4/30/16
Available to: College Freshmen through College Juniors
Award Amount: $1,000
The CARiD Scholarship is available to students enrolled at an accredited college or university. You must be between the ages of 16 and 20 and submit a photo inspired by any aspect of the automotive industry to qualify for this award.
Submissions could be of your first car, custom modifications you've made, something that makes your vehicle unique, or the coolest vehicle you've ever seen.

6. Paradigm Challenge
Deadline: 05/01/16
Available to: Maximum Age 18 Years
Award Amount: $100,000
The Paradigm Challenge is available to students up to the age of 18.
You may work in a team or alone in creating an original and creative way to generate new ideas in preventing injuries and fatalities from home fires—America’s #1 disaster threat.
Entries may come in the form of posters, videos, inventions, messages, community events, websites, mobile apps, or anything else that will help save lives.
Additionally, you must submit a brief statement of your idea (140 characters or less) in order to qualify for this award.

7. “From Failure to Promise” Essay Contest
Deadline: 7/31/16
Available to: High School Seniors through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $10,000
The "From Failure to Promise" Essay Contest is open to high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students who hold at least a 2.5 GPA.
To be considered, you must submit an essay of at least 1500 words that addresses the following three topics: Which tracks of the book "From Failure to Promise - 360 degrees" presented or reiterated the most important life lessons for you and why, which factor was the most vital to the author's evolution in going from "flunk-out" to "professor" and how does the "Seven Spheres of Influence and Integration Model" affect your worldview as related to civic responsibility.

9. CKSF Scholarship Competition

Available to: High School Seniors through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $2,500
The CKSF Scholarships are available to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students in the U.S.
You must register to participate in scholarship quizzes that test your knowledge of topics ranging from general "common knowledge" to specific academic subjects, books, websites, and even movies.
You will be scored based on a combination of time and accuracy.
Students with the highest scores at the end of each competition win.

10. Optimist International Oratorical Contest
Deadline: Varies
Available To: Maximum Age 18 Years
Award Amount: $2,500
The Optimist International Oratorical Contest is open to students under the age of 19.
To be considered for this award, you must prepare a 4 to 5 minute speech on the topic, "How My Passions Impact the World" to be presented at your local Optimist Club's contest.
